Movie Moved
Warner Bros. says it’s bumping “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” from its planned November release into next summer.
The sixth installment in the blockbuster franchise about boy wizard Harry now will open July 17 rather than Nov. 21, the studio said Thursday.
Studio President and Chief Operating Officer Alan Horn says the studio has had success with past summer “Harry Potter” releases, including the fifth movie. Horn also says the Writers Guild of America strike had “impacted the readiness of scripts for other films — changing the competitive landscape for 2009 and offering new windows of opportunity that we wanted to take advantage of.”

i dont mind have 2 wait another year… bt… dont u think tat when d harry potter and the half-blood prince is release, the real age of those casting is totally different wif d actor???

i am absolutely appalled by that news. i was really looking forward to its november release…although i am in no way pleased, i guess that gives me more time to reread the book (yet again!!!) as to compare it to the movie.

I f dont release harry potter on nov. 21 2008 like it has been advertise for so long i will not go to any movie you relase fron now on. This is a bunch of crap that you say one think for so long and then do something different just because of money youll make less money by holding it till july for release. and further more i work with over 5000 people and i will tell all them to do the same i will also post this on ever message borad i cant find hoping to get them to do the same.

I am very ansious to see the movie, i am very sad since i read the last book from Rowling,I don’t want that this storys have an end but…it has already.

WHY?!!!!!!!!! I’ve I’ve, **breaks down and cry** BU- but wh-wh-why!!! I’ve been counting the days since harry potter and the order of the pheonix!!! Okay and that was how I would act if I were not angry! Here’s how I really feel, what the heck! I can’t believe warner bors they suck! Why in world would they do that?!!!! GOD! What in world is wrong with them?!!! They just want to keep this up that’s all! Can you belive? The 6th movie was suppose to come out in November and the last movie part 1 was suppose to come out in 2010. Wait, because this movie is moved, does that mean that the past movie is going to be moved too oh my god, WARNER BROS I HATE YOU!!!!!!

I am so pissed. I have read the book already 2 times. And now I am going to have to read it again to pass the time until the movie comes out. I could not beleive it. I have read all the books more than once already and will have to just read them all again WARNER BROS U SUCK

I was SOO bummed about the move! The 6th installation would have released ON MY 25TH BIRTHDAY!! Would’ve been the best birthday ever — my son and my friends and my favorite movie?! It would’ve been great…ah well…money rules the world i guess.
