Daniel Radcliffe hits The View and The Late Show
Fresh off the 2011 Broadway.com awards, Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has been busy making the rounds for his latest musical endeavor, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. Along with some of his fellow castmates from the Broadway hit, Daniel Radcliffe made an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman and visited with the ladies of The View.
On David Letterman’s show, Radcliffe and the How to Succeed cast treated the audience to a rousing rendition of Brotherhood of Man. And on The View the very next morning, Radcliffe was asked about the end of the Harry Potter series and the last day on set before he took the stage to perform once again. Earlier in the week at the Broadway.com Audience Choice Awards, Daniel Radcliffe and company cleaned up for their well-reviewed revival of How to Succeed. Overall, the cast won four total awards including the biggie — Favorite Musical Revival. Radcliffe was named the Favorite Actor in a Musical while his co-star John Larroquette won for Favorite Funny Performance. And together, the duo picked up the award for Favorite Onstage Pair.
Next up for Dan? Look for him to be a presenter at the Drama Desk Awards in New York on May 23 where he is nominated for Outstanding Actor in a Musical and How to Succeed is nominated for a slew of other awards. The award ceremony will air on TV on the Ovation network on June 4 at 9 p.m.
