Did you happen to catch the season finale of The Vampire Diaries on the CW? If you did, then you were treated to a pleasant surprise during a commercial break when the familiar Warner Bros. logo showed up on the small screen leading into the first Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 TV spot.

Although Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 first premiered its trailer on ABC Family a few weeks ago to much fanfare, this marks the occasion of the first official TV spot. Although the 30-second spot didn’t really cover any new ground, it was still a thrill to catch Harry, Ron and Hermione in action in the epic conclusion to the magical series. With nearly two months to go until the July 15 release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, Harry Potter fans can look forward to many more promos to come!
