Tom Felton appreciates the Draco love
Last year at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards, Tom Felton was overshadowed (literally!) on stage when he accepted the Best Villain prize for his role in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. As Tom Felton expressed his gratitude for the win, Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell dangled above the British actor as part of their bit and interrupted his acceptance speech with some quips.
This year, though, Tom Felton has another shot at the villain crown as the star has been nominated once again for his portrayal of Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1!
“It was a kind of a blur last year, so I’d be very excited if I get the chance to go back and do it again,” Felton told MTV News.
“All I can send is my endless appreciation to everyone who is online and campaigning. I really appreciate it. It’s an endless, sweet gesture, after 10 years, that Draco gets a lot of love. It’s ironic, in a way, but I love it and appreciate it very much,” Felton said.
Felton fans can vote at MTV.com for their fave blond-headed “villain” who will go up against The Green Hornet’s Christoph Waltz, The Roommate’s Leighton Meester, Toy Story 3′s Ned Beatty and Iron Man 2′s Mickey Rourke.
“In a way, even though he’s known as a slimy bully, he’s not really that villainous. There’s actually a sweet little boy there. They love to hate me!”
Couldn’t agree more! And congrats to Tom Felton and the rest of the Harry Potter cast on their MTV Movie Award nominations!

Hiya, I love Felton (Malfoy too =D), It’s you’d never believe how much I get teased by my friends because of it, they all love Ron and Harry =P I think Malfoy’s the best but whatever…
