Videos: New Harry Potter clip shown at MTV Movie Awards, plus Tom Felton wins!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 may have lost out at the MTV Movie Awards to The Twilight Saga: Eclipse for Best Picture, but fans could take solace in a new and exclusive Harry Potter clip that was shown during the broadcast. Last year at the MTV Movie Awards, Tom Felton picked up the golden popcorn on stage, only to be overshadowed by Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg who were hanging above him. But this year, Tom Felton had a chance at a do-over for his role as Draco Malfoy, and delighted in the win.

“Thank you very much, it’s always exciting to be here,” Felton said on stage at LA’s Gibson Amphitheater. “This is very cool. This will look very nice in my downstairs toilet.” Tom Felton later clarified just exactly how special the downstairs loo is while chatting with MTV backstage!

Also at the MTV Movie Awards, a new clip was shown of Tom Felton’s other upcoming summer flick, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, which hits theaters on August 5, shortly after the July 15 premiere of Harry Potter. Rise of the Planet of the Apes also stars Oscar-nominated actor James Franco.

Emma Watson, who plays Hermione Granger, took the stage to introduce the new Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 clip. While taking a break from filming The Perks of Being a Wallflower in Pittsburgh, the actress looked stunning in a short white mini-dress by Marchesa paired with her short ‘do.
