As the final Harry Potter film approaches, Warner Bros. released a touching tribute to the Harry Potter series which sums up all eight films, while offering insight from the stars, producer David Heyman and director David Yates. “We needed to go out with a big bang,” Yates said and judging by the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 scenes in the clip, they have succeeded!

“The way the stories are told and the intricacy of them is fantastic,” Daniel Radcliffe said about the magical film adaptations of J.K. Rowling’s books which put him on the path to superstardom.

The Harry Potter video starts off with the main trio during their first screen test. Watching Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson as wee tykes, it’s hard to believe how far they’ve come and how much they’ve grown up since the first film, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, debuted in 2001.

“When I read the first book I had no idea that it would become this,” Heyman said, while also giving credit to the amazing cast he’s had along the way.

The video montage features a quick glimpse behind the scenes with many of the Harry Potter directors while building up to images from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.

Emma Watson concludes, “I hope that Harry Potter will be one of those films that a generation’s children will just love.” Methinks we’re already there!
