Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando just announced “A Celebration of the Harry Potter Films” — a special three-day event starting Friday, November 11, through Sunday, November 13.

Fans who purchase special vacation packages will get the chance to mingle with Harry Potter cast members during Q&A sessions and autograph signing events. Plus, special guests can put on their best dress robes for a “spectacular evening gala” to be held at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

After sharing the enchanted world of Harry Potter with fans in New York City, Harry Potter: The Exhibition will pack up its wizardly bags and head to Australia for the next leg on the tour this November.

Harry Potter star Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom) recently gave excited fans in Sydney a sneak peek of what to expect. Hundreds of props, costumes, creatures and other artifacts from the Harry Potter films, including Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, will be on display in an immersive experience for fans.

As the hour struck midnight, Harry Potter fans everywhere held their breaths to see how Harry Potter and his friends would fare on the big screen in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. Midnight showings around the globe sold out in record numbers.

In North America alone, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 raked in a whopping $43.5 million in midnight and early morning ticket sales! This number blows the previous record-holder out of the water — The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, which set a record in 2010 with $30 million.

After taking over London’s Trafalgar Square last week, the cast and crew of Harry Potter brought their magic across the pond to the Big Apple for the premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. Despite the sweltering heat, the Harry Potter stars were gracious and glowing as they walked the red carpet at Lincoln Center’s Avery Fisher Hall.

Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Tom Felton, Matthew Lewis and Alan Rickman were among the stars to mingle with fans and reporters while chatting about the epic finale to the magical series and reminiscing about the early days. While the guys looked sharp in their suits, Emma Watson stole the show with her sophisticated look and strapless Bottega Veneta gown.

Harry Potter fans camped out and braved the wind and rain just to be part of the magic that was the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. Thousands of fans came out to catch a glimpse of their fave Harry Potter stars like Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson, while many couldn’t wait to see what fashionista Emma would be wearing.

The Harry Potter stars walked the red carpet at Trafalgar Square, marking the first time ever a film premiere has been held at the historical spot, before heading over to Leicester Square to catch the movie. Stars like Tom Felton, James and Oliver Phelps, Michael Gambon, Alan Rickman, Ralph Fiennes and Helena Bonham Carter, plus the woman behind it all — J.K. Rowling — mingled with the ecstatic fans while signing autographs and posing for pictures.

In New York City, home to Harry Potter: The Exhibition, Harry Potter’s biggest fans can check out all seven films in advance of the July 15 release date of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. Starting July 6, the Museum of the Moving Image will open the doors to their stunning new 267-seat theater to showcase the films in all their epic glory. Harry Potter is once again facing the vampires of Twilight in another movie showdown at the Teen Choice Awards. During their last awards show battle at the MTV Movie Awards, Twilight came out on top but Harry Potter fans have another chance to take down that other popular supernatural teen series with this latest battle.

Harry Potter was nominated for a total of five Teen Choice Awards, including the biggie: Choice Movie: Sci-Fi/Fantasy, where The Twilight Saga: Eclipse will go face-to-face with the penultimate Harry Potter film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1. Who else was nominated against the mega-supernatural movie series? Super 8, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and X-Men: First Class.
